Is This the Right Book for Me?
Should I get any of the Snapshot guides for Scandinavia in addition to the Scandinavia guidebook?
If your trip includes an excursion to St. Petersburg, which isn't included in Rick Steves Scandinavia, the Snapshot: St. Petersburg, Helsinki & Tallinn guide is a worthwhile buy. Otherwise, however, the various Snapshot guides for Scandinavia are simply excerpted chapters taken directly from the complete Rick Steves Scandinavia guidebook.
