We love Rick Steves guide books and how helpful they have been for us. However this edition is almost 1000 ‘tissue thin’ pages in a very small paperback. There’s a lot of stuff in this tiny book which includes Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, and Bosnia. Navigating thru the pages with their small fonts was a challenge. Of course, having something that doesn’t take up much room in your bag is certainly a plus. But we’d opt for something that was more approachable and slightly larger.

Another great, thorough book from Rick and his crew.

Helpful, great maps and self-guided tours. Common phrases. Interesting, least touristy recommendations.

As with all RS guidebooks, this one did not disappoint. Very helpful and comprehensive with great advice and tips.
