Is This the Right Book for Me?
Should I get this Croatia & Slovenia book or Rick's bigger Eastern Europe guidebook?
If your trip includes Croatia and/or Slovenia as part of a wider trip to Eastern Europe — to Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and/or Poland — Rick Steves Eastern Europe is probably the better buy. It includes complete coverage of Rick's select picks in Croatia and Slovenia, as well as Mostar (Bosnia-Herzegovina). But you'll want to have Rick Steves Croatia & Slovenia along if you're headed to Montenegro and/or venturing farther off the beaten path in Croatia, Slovenia, or Bosnia-Herzegovina.
