The belt hid my credit cards and passport very well but the tip of the belt where you tighten it started to fray and come apart. I had to cut off the end.

Loved the security it provided on my recent trip to Europe, but the end of the elastic band started to fray the first day I wore it. I would recommend reinforcing it before you leave by either taping the end or folding back an inch or so and sewing across it to prevent fraying.

This one's a no-brainer. I bought the Rick Steve's wallet approximately 10 years ago, and I've used it on multiple trips and absolutely love it. More importantly, my 19-year-old grandson recently made his first solo trip to Europe, and along the way managed to lose his wallet, but because he had the Rick Steve's wallet, he was good to go. This money belt is so comfortable, I forget I’m wearing it. Highly recommend!!
The quality of the product was fine, but the function of using it did not work for me. Specifically, I could not easily discern the pocket I wanted to open when I reached down to access it. I decided that I preferred wearing a zippable pouch around my neck in which I could more easily see the pocket I wanted to use. Kind of nerdy when it’s warm and all you’re wearing is a t-shirt but fine in colder temperatures where it is concealed under a jacket.

This worked well in Athens. The pocket zipper is easy to access and very functional. The material is light and breathable under clothes, especially in high temperatures!
