This phrase book provides topic vocabularies and dictionaries for 11 languages of Eastern Europe. As a Russian instructor and experienced traveler, I found its 37-page Russian section to be thorough in preparing for any imaginable travel situation. The book includes maps and linguistic histories for each region. Descriptions of native foods help with understanding the cultures. The Ukrainian language is not included, however.
